Tulus- Biography Obscene

The Review:
‘Biography Obscene’ is one of the most original pieces of metal I have heard in a long time. Inspired orchestral pieces meet heavy metal in a well produced, dark manner, throughout the album. At times, a touch of Industrial is notable and at others, a mean, thrash overtone. Unlike most bands in their class, they do not lose the listener through over-technical pieces, or irrelevant noise. Instead the listener will headbang to quality riffs and hum along to lyrics which are actually audible! Well placed thrash elements, solos, pianos and violins are enough to keep many a metal fan interested, regardless of specific genre preference. Ultimately, ‘Biography Obscene’ is a superb, well-balanced album.
