The Ataris South African tour – All the Details You Need

All the times, dates and info you need to go and checkout The Ataris
According to Authentic Ideas:
“Platinum selling punk band, The Ataris arrive for their first ever SA tour on the 5th of May for four public dates only, before jetting back to the US to headline The Warped Tour.
The Ataris, famous for pop punk anthems such as “So Long Astoria”, the Don Henley cover, “The Boys of Summer” and “The Saddest Song” will perform alongside South Africa’s finest at four intimate shows.
Gauteng fans have a unique and exciting opportunity to personally welcome the band to South Africa. On the night of their arrival, Tuesday the 5th of May at 21h00, The Ataris will be at Fashion TV lounge Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp for a relaxing evening of cocktails. There is no cover charge and fans can meet the band face to face in an intimate and undisturbed environment.
On Thursday the 7th of May at 10:00 they will also conduct a workshop for aspiring musicians at COPA (The Campus of Performing Arts) in Johannesburg to discuss life on the road as experienced by this American band. COPA has agreed to make a select few tickets available for people outside of the college. Anyone wanting to attend this workshop can contact Kerry on (011) 622 7253. Applicants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Crashcarburn was instrumental in securing the Ataris the South African tour (The Ataris emailed them asking for a way to tour here). In a classic case of “it’s not what you know, but who you know”, CrashCarBurn directed the Americans to Authentic Ideas and the rest is history to be made. CrashCarBurn will be performing with The Ataris at each show around the country. Many other local bands will also be given the opportunity to perform, some chosen through community support search shows, and others, directly hand picked by The Ataris themselves.
