Skavenjas

A hip hop group that hails from the East of Guateng, Vosloorus, that met 13 years ago at the basketball courts of Vosloorus. Jabulani “Jebhana” Ndlozi aka JB, Tiro Mpotane aka Equivalent and Thembisile “Maphifo” Ngcakani make up the African Hip Hop group Skavanjaz.

The Skavejaz’s diversity has led them to work with industry greats like Guffy Pilane on his latest album, Craig Massiv and Ryan Dent who were nominated for S.A. top dj’s in 2008, the Jezel Brothers who are renowned for producing musicians like Lesego and Jub Jub and Statascope also hailing from Vosloorus. They also worked with local producer Fede Inc, Cliff from the U.S.A. & up and coming local producer & artist Trezpass, who’s talent is evident in the production of Uzwa Umsindo by the infamous Sliq, from Skatta Kamp. They also shared the stage with Mandoza, Guffy, Bongo Muffin and Mischief.
