Great bands, great twitter personalities…

If you’re on Twitter, you’ll probably know that there’s nothing worse than a spammer or somebody who never replies to your messages. To make your life easier, we’ve uncovered the top 10 bands to follow on Twitter. These bands are definitely worth a @reply or #FF.

10. The Parlotones
Local rockers, The Parlotones, are heavily active on social media networks, answering fan questions and keeping everyone in the loop about their latest projects.

9. Story of the Year
Active and verified account. What more could a fan ask for?

8. Goldfish
Another local act that’s continuously engaging with its audience – and they’re nice guys too.

7. Papa Roach
Jacoby and Jerry seem to be Twitter addicts who constantly update their feed – even before they go up onstage!

6. Hayley Williams (Paramore)
Guess what? She isn’t emo, after all.

5. Every Time I Die
If you want to talk to a band about the ridiculous and obscure, look no further than these hardcore giants.

4. Mark Hunter (Chimaira)
Mark seems to like Twitpic a lot!

3. Randy Blythe (Lamb of God)
Randy is not just the voice of Satan, but possibly one of the smartest musicians ever. Just read some of his tweets and philosophy on life.

2. Bring Me The Horizon
As one of the biggest bands of the last couple of years, BMTH still make a huge effort to respond to questions – you have to appreciate that.

1. Norma Jean
Possibly one of the most reply-friendly bands ever. No egos whatsoever.
