Yawn a thon? This is my favourite Muse album? i have listened to it over and over again and have never once yawned! it relly makes me angry when people dont accept change. They cant do the same music all over again, every artist has to move with the times and thats exactly what Muse are doing. They're music has always included a certain ammount of electronic sounds and that in fact is exactly the reason i bacame a fan in the first place. Not sure how they flew under my radar all that time! Last fall, my wife and I were watching VH1's Top 20 Countdown and we caught 'Uprising' - shortly thereafter, we heard it on ads for ABC's 'V' and such. I loved it enough to download 'The Resistance' and we very quickly came to love this album. Since then we've been going backwards thru their catalog and loving just about everything we hear. While I agree that 'The Resistance' is not their very best, I rank it well above a 'yawn-a-thon' - perhaps because I heard and loved this one before I heard the rest of their output.
