Gearing up to return with their brand of “Mötley Crüe meets Misfits” in-your-face rock, Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 are set to revive the Murderdolls train for one more run. Here are some interesting facts about this macabre-inspired rock ’n roll sideshow.

1. Despite being the touring guitarist for Beyond the Valley of the Murderolls, Joey Jordison was the drummer, guitarist, and shared bass duties with Wednesday 13 during the recording sessions for the album.

2. Three former members of the Murderdolls have played for Chicago-based hard rock band Dope at some point in their career.

3. Wednesday 13 used to play in a horror punk band called the Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13.

4. Joey Jordison’s real name is Nathan Jonas Jordison.

5. Marilyn Manson made a special guest appearance in the music video for ‘Dead in Hollywood’. He was returning the favour for Joey Jordison, who appeared in the ‘Tainted Love’ video.

6. Even though he’s a full-time member of Slipknot, Joey Jordison has also found time to play with Korn, Metallica, Satyricon, Ministry and Rob Zombie.

7. The song ‘197666’ is inspired by Wednesday 13’s real birth date – 1976.

8. Each of Wednesday 13’s three solo albums have been released on different labels.

10. It has been confirmed that there will be a new touring line-up for Women and Children Last.
