The new hope in indie rock ‘n roll, Band Of Skulls, have finally released their debut album, Baby Darling Doll Face Honey, in South Africa. The album has been lauded by international press such as NME, The Guardian, Q, Kerrang! and Uncut, amongst many others.

The lead single, ‘I Know What I Am’, has already charted on campus stations reaching #4 on MFM and top 10 on TuksFM. The track was recently playlisted on national tastemaker station 5fm.

The band performed at SXSW (South by Southwest) in early 2010, were included on the soundtrack to the massively popular “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, recently performed with Jack White’s The Dead Weather and have been selected to open for Muse in September 2010 in the UK. The album is expected to follow suit on the successes of the UK and USA in South Africa.
