Say these four simple word’s to any person who’s been near a dancefloor in the last few years and the automatic answer is BASEMENT JAXX! The London dance music duo of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe have been pounding out clubbing classics since the 90’s with numerous dance chart smashes such as ‘Romeo’, Where’s Your Head At?’, ‘Bingo Bango’, ‘Red Alert’, ‘Goodluck’ and their latest ‘Raindrops’. Their meteoric debut Remedy was hailed as one of the most important records of the ’90s, winning props from press, fans and club luminaries Danny Tenaglia, Armand van Helden and Daft Punk. It’s Miller Time!

With a Grammy Award, multiple Brit and MTV Awards, four best-selling albums and a string of dancefloor filling anthems they are sure to blow SA away on their 2-day, 2-city South African DJ Tour supported by SA’s finest…5FM’s Roger Goode, Euphonik, Milkshake, Poppy, Grant & Anele, along with Flash Republic (LIVE), HouseHold Funk, Ryan Dent, and loads more as well as Cape Town’s own Goodluck whose name was inspired by the London duo.

The DJ tour will kick-off at The Waterfront Lookout located at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, on Friday 3rd September. This brand new venue comprises of a huge marquee structure with outer deck overlooking the ocean. With state of the art Sound Stage and Lighting specifically set up for this event as well as a huge bar area Cape Town patrons will experience a night out they won’t soon forget.

Sky Raiders Hanger at Rand Airport, Germiston, will be the location for the Johannesburg show on Saturday 4th September and is synonymous with world class dance acts most recently Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto. The venue will host 2 floors with the main floor being extended by 50%, secured parking, gaming zone, ATM facilities, general access lounge area, various food vendors (Anat, Chip n Dip, Prego’s etc) and an increased bar area to grab yourself an ice cold Miller from.

Be part of the tour with 5FM’s Roger Goode as he broadcasts live on 5FM 7-10pm, Friday evening from The Lookout, then again for the Saturday Surgery from 7-10pm at Sky Raiders.

JHB VIP’s enjoy a raised stage area at the rear of the Main Floor filled with comfy couches, exclusive bar and toilets. Limited to 400.
