Fire Through The Window Return With The Brilliant New Album ‘All These People Are Golden’

Fast establishing themselves as one of South Africa’s favourite indie pop bands – Fire Through The Window return in 2010 with the brilliant new album ‘All These People are Golden’ – which is set for release in October 2010.
The album is a smart successor to their self-titled debut and their 2009 released ‘Hey’. It’s a beautiful mix of what we have come to love from Fire Through The Window and is bound to be on the top of everybody’s playlist.
The first single ‘Golden’ debuts on South African radio in September.
Originally a two-piece, Fire Through The Window recorded their first album on a whim as a pet project, only to be greeted with unexpected success. Their first single ‘Just Like You Are’ was selected as the official song and video of the Apple iPod Nano television campaign and went all the way to the top 10 of national charts, securing them 4 national tours in 2008 and slots at festivals like Splashy Fen, Oppikoppi, Rocking The Daisies and Woodstock. Shortly after, their label at the time closed its doors and effectively their album became limited edition.
In 2009 with a new full band and a new label (Sheer), they released their second album, which included selected singles from the original album. The first single ‘Do Do Do’ went on to be picked up for a television campaign for ShoX speakers in early 2010 as well as being in high rotation on Mnet’s soundcheck, and the second single ‘Hey!’ was selected as the new iPod Nano song for their television campaign.
This year (2010) FTTW have been hard at work in the studio creating their best album yet, ‘All These People Are Golden’ – which is due for release in October 2010, with the first single and video ‘Golden’ being released in September.
So put on your dancing shoes, grab your significant other, down a few Red Bulls and prepare yourselves for FTTW round three.
It’s energetic, it’s fun, it’s good times, it’s a cold vanilla cone on a hot summers day.
