Global Moguls Design Task Open For Public Rating

Global Moguls, this year’s most exciting online talent search has now opened its design task for public viewing and rating. The current task involves the creative teams designing an album cover for their band and already the designers are showing some amazing talent..
Global Moguls, sponsored by Klipdrift & Cola, is unique as it is not only about discovering SA’s next big unsigned band but it’s also showcasing the work of the creative’s in the background. Often the graphic designers, photographers, music video filmmakers and editors do not get the credit they deserve so Global Moguls is hoping to bring them to the forefront.
With the focus of Global Moguls being on the collaboration between the bands and creative’s, excitement is growing as the emphasis moves from band related tasks to collaboration tasks. The content on the site showcases the world-class talent of South African designers, photographers and music video directors.
At the moment the public are able to register as fans and then vote/rate the music track, rough cut videos and now the design task. Without the public’s support and votes the bands cannot make it to the final. Because crowd participation is central to this progressive online music and creative media concept, it will culminate in live music finals in Cape Town and London, with performances live-streamed to the greater online community.
Not only can fans visit www.globalmoguls.com to see the leader board for the design task, they can also listen to the various uploaded tracks and rate them.
Registration for bands and creative’s closes on 30 September, so there is still time for unsigned original bands and creative teams to join the Global Moguls movement.
Visit www.globalmoguls.com to find out more about the competition and the amazing prizes up for grabs.
