Bring Me The Horizon Suit Up For Alt Press Cover/Tour & New Album
International metal phenoms BRING ME THE HORIZON will be featured on the forthcoming cover of Alternative Press in anticipation of the rock mag’s upcoming “AP Tour” and the release of the band’s hotly anticipated new album, There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret, that’s scheduled for release on October 5 via Epitaph Records. The tour will also feature performances by August Burns Red, Emarosa, Polar Bear Club and This Is Hell and kicks off in Pontiac, MI on October 13. Tickets for the must-see tour are on-sale now at the links below.
Commanding a legion of fans around the world, BRING ME THE HORIZON have turned into a global phenomenon, injecting their maliciously epic sound into mainstream music and pop-culture and as they continue to shape the existing modern metal genre. Urgently dark with sweeping soundscapes of brooding metallic riffs, pummeling beats and ghostly electronics, There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret, defies and defiles conventional metal of the past decade. While maintaining the trademark elements that have become staples of the band’s signature sound, precise guitar riffs, venomously dark lyrics, massive breakdowns and gang vocals galore, BRING ME THE HORIZON have raised the bar of song writing.
Backed by a nuclear assault of shredding guitars from Lee Malia and Jona Weinhofen (currently featured in Nov issue of Guitar World), the heart stopping punch of bassist Matt Kean and Matt Nicholls who “flaunts brutal power, velocity, and imagination”(DRUM!) on the drums, frontman Oli Sykes vividly explores humanity’s collective good nature and the celestial euphoria associated with love, lust, truth and desire; this is balanced by the darkness and evil that is likely buried deep inside all of us. Lyrically and musically, the album is the band’s most honest work to date as Sykes lays bare his fears, weaknesses and anger, which is just one layer on this truly progressive and advanced third album.
BRING ME THE HORIZON recently released a vicious new video for their first single, “It Never Ends,” which has collectively over 1.2 million views and building, and performed the song live for a MySpace Secret Show in Australia.
Don’t miss out on the year’s most buzzed about metal band as they pursue their quest of worldwide domination. Fans can pick up the new album on October 5 and catch their red-hot performance on the upcoming AP Tour.
