Band of the Week: My Amends

11 January 2012 2 Comments

MusicReview’s “Band of the Week” is My Amends.

Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 5-piece rock band My Amends caught our attention with their passionate and honest full-length album, Acceptions. Appreciating the unpredictability and rawness of the release, we couldn’t resist chatting to the guys, who gave us one of the most candid and real interviews in a long time.

Despite only being around for a short period of time, My Amends is a group of accomplished musicians, who were part of bands like Remembering Never, Hiatus, Aeons Apart, Beauty to the Moon, and Razorblade Romance. Having already shared the stage with acts such as The Sleeping, Poison the Well, Every Time I Die and Vanna, the Florida outfit’s relative success is testament to their perseverance and hunger.

Justin Dailey – Vocals
Matt Ruffini – Guitars
Devin Estep – Guitars
Daniel Wyler – Bass
Joey Calero – Drums

Acceptions is out now via Ingenious Records.
