Review: Paul Stanley – Live to Win

A review of KISS member Paul Stanley’s solo release.

Artist Name: Paul Stanley
Album Name: Live to Win
Year: 2006
Genre: Rock

LARK’s music scales from glitch-opera to alternative-electro with thrashing alternative influences, coupled with abstract and poetic lyricisms, LARK offer a sonic delight mostly enjoyed by those who are partial to the more sophisticated style of music making.
In their 4 years together LARK won over a largely uneducated audience in the realm of glitch-electro, sealing their reputation as one of the great alternative bands of South Africa by winning the SAMA award for ‘Best Alternative’ album. They were invited to tour Germany, Poland, Reunion and the Seychelles and went on to ...

Raspy-voiced rocker, Wednesday 13, has come along way since his Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 and Murderdolls days, and his second solo effort was never going to disappoint his legion of ghoulish fans.
